It is nown as Çekişke Olive in Aydın region. In some other regions ıt is also called as kırma, memeli or eğri çekirdek. It is originated in Agean Region. It is usually produced green table olive ( crushing) or salamurated table olive , and also because it has high oil portion, ıt is produced for its oil. Its a very fruitful variety.
Its oil rate is 26,89%. Its trees grow strogly. Its fruits are big. The yield is good and gives regular product in suitable maintenance conditions. There is no periodisity and it is resistant to cold. Its fruit is used for both table olive and its oil. Its oil quality is very good in terms of chemically and its taste.
